Questions

How does the €15 minimum work?

Nothing is charged up front. At the end of each month we add up 1.5% of your sales. If that comes to less than €15 (€18.45 with VAT), you pay the difference. If it's €15 or more, there's nothing extra.

When do I pay the fees?

Card fees are taken from each payment before it reaches your bank. Fees on cash sales are taken from your later card payments, with any balance settled at the end of the month.

Is there a contract?

No. It's month to month, and you can leave when you like. Your data goes with you.

Do you charge on delivery fees?

The 3% applies to the full amount the customer pays by card, delivery fee included, because that's what the card is charged. There's no separate charge on delivery.

What happens to the fee when I refund a payment?

The fee on a refunded payment isn't returned, because Stripe doesn't return its processing fee either.

Can I use a SumUp reader I already have?

Yes, an existing SumUp reader can be paired to take card payments. It can't run the till itself the way the Stripe terminals do.
