Common questions about switching

I'm in a contract with my current provider. Can I still switch?
Check your contract terms for early termination. Some merchants run both systems in parallel during the transition, then switch fully once the contract ends. You can set up NibbleOS now and be ready to go live instantly when your contract expires.
Will NibbleOS work with my current printer?
We support Star CloudPRNT printers (mC-Print3, TSP143III, TSP654II). If you already have a Star printer, it likely works. See our hardware guide for full compatibility details.
What about my card reader?
We support Stripe, Square, and SumUp terminals. If your current provider uses a different processor, you may need to add a new reader. Most merchants already have a backup reader anyway.
Do I lose any features by switching?
NibbleOS includes everything most food businesses need: ordering, payments, kitchen display, POS, CRM, marketing, delivery zones, table bookings, and more. Some enterprise features like custom integrations aren't available, but most SMB merchants get more features with NibbleOS, not fewer.
How long does migration take?
Most merchants are live within 30 minutes for a simple menu. Larger menus with lots of modifiers might take a couple of hours. Either way, it's usually done in a single afternoon.
